Getting Swole As A Grappler by Gordon Ryan
To be honest, I was a little disappointed in the end of this course. I really like Gordon as a Grappler and his development in terms of strength are exceptional. In the course he shows all the excercises he does, gives a bunch of supplements and a mindset part. It is interesting but I miss a structured workout or more on the way he trains (how many reps etc).
Shin to Shin System
The Essential Shin To Shin System by Shawn Williams
Very good and interesting videos. Shawn does a good job explaining the techniques, with excellent detail. All the Renzo Gracie instructors are very, very good.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Back Attacks
Back Attacks Enter The System by John Danaher
I just completed John Danaher's Back Attacks Instructional. The heart of the instructional is to address the discrepancy in finishing opponent's from the back via strangulation. I have drilled utilizing the hand/grip fighting principles with immediate success. I am excited to test my new found knowledge and feel confident about increasing my finishes from the back. In addition, he teaches many options for transitioning to secondary submissions and control positions. The instructional ends with a variety of entries or "back takes" from the turtle, 3/4 mount, 4 point stance. I highly recommend this instructional to anyone who is interested in enhancing their skills and mastering the king of submissions, "the rear ***** strangle."

I've had this series for awhile now and just now started watching it. OMG it's great with leglocks and all!! I should have watched it sooner. My half is 100% better now. Tom Deblass speaks perfect English too.

Mastering The Judo Shoulder Post by Matt D'Aquino
Having purchased over 100 products from Fanatics (well done Bernardo & Michael, you’ve taken all my money), this is the first time I've actually left a review, this instructional is a must have for gi players, especially if you're a hobbyist like me that doesn't have the time to train both BJJ and Judo, nor has the time to sit down and watch 5 hours straight of instructional with work, family, church obligations etc. Matt's instructional is incredibly well though out, and covers one of the major parts of the stand up game you may find yourself in - when you cannot attain your opponent's power (forward side) sleeve and their forward side collar is presented instead. However, this is not simply a reactive or secondary strategy, Matt presents an aggressive and powerful attacking system that forces your opponent to choose between various bad options. His instruction is technical, to the point and he is a good communicator. His uke is equally professional as well and it seems like both men have trained together a lot, resulting in a flowing dynamic that makes it easy to watch compared to some other instructionals. I have no delusions that watching this will allow me to take on seasoned Judo black belts at their own game, however, watching this has afforded great insight to a major part of the stand up game that was missing, and has given me much greater confidence to stand instead of simply pulling guard if I cannot get my desired power sleeve or rear sleeve grip. I would recommend this from white - black and every weight class, even though Matt is on the lighter side like myself. Disclaimer, Matt received his BJJ black belt from the same coach as me, however we have never trained together, have only met at a few seminars and I’ve tried to be completely honest in my review.
Is very nice

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Comprehensive Instructional
Back Attacks Enter The System by John Danaher
Completely comprehensive guide to the back. I love the layout of the main straight jacket system and auxiliary systems. This answered all of the questions I had and even more that I didn’t know I had. Can’t recommend this enough.

High Percentage Chokes: No Gi by Lachlan Giles
I've invested in a couple of videos by Lachlan and have to say the quality of his teachings is excellent. The amount of detail he provides will have you watching many times over, plus each breakdown is easy to apply into drilling and also then live training.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:A must for solo training at home
Self Mastery: Solo BJJ Training Drills by John Danaher
A great resource for self-training on days away from the gym or when without a partner, particularly when gyms have been closed during the pandemic. I’ve been able to gain new insights into refining my technique, especially for improving my escapes. Always good to have this video in my toolkit in case I am in need of a refresher.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Excellent videos.
Connected Reaction: Clinch Closed Guard by Paul Schreiner
Excellent videos. I knew they would be because I trained under Paul for a bit at Marcelo’s years ago, and he’s a fantastic teacher. I consider him among the best instructors I’ve ever had, and that’s not just in martial arts — that’s in any subject area from grade school through law school. I’ve been out of BJJ for a long time (got a new job, had a couple of kids, etc.), but I’m trying to (very slowly, since I’m in my 40s now) get back into it, and these videos are very helpful.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Excellent Blend of Grappling Tools
Grappling For Gringos by Chris Thompson
Chris Thompson has put together an exciting and well rounded toolbox for grappling. His mix of BJJ and Catch as Catch Can is sneaky and technical. It's really fun to practice and you see results quick, once you have integrated some of these tools in your game. I personally have found the half halch tools and 2 on 1 series quite useful.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Fantastic
Buzzsaw Passing: No Gi by Andrew Wiltse
Tons of valuable information in this instructional. Andrew goes over entries, finishes and recoveries from an array of different positions you will find yourself in when attempting to pass in no-gi. Looking forward to pouring over this for many more hours and applying it to my game - highly recommended.

The Anchor Guard by Chad Lyman
I have purchased Chad's previous instructionals and really liked them so I thought I would give this one a go. It covers a really solid principal of anchoring the arm and working from there. All techniques are presented clearly and after playing with them a little I definitely will be adding them to my game. I look forward to Chad's next project.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great Basic Introduction
Introduction To BJJ by Bernardo Faria
I picked this video up as a college student looking to start BJJ with no experience, and Bernardo does an excellent job at explaining the absolute basics of BJJ. He absolutely makes looking for a Jiu-Jitsu school far more accessible. I feel a lot more prepared and excited to get started once I return to college in the fall after finishing this introduction. Thanks, Bernardo! Full disclosure: This series covers some solo moves and explains positions and such, but for techniques, it's better to check out his Foundations of Jiu-jitsu product.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:A simple yet very effective guard!
The Barbelt Guard by Lucas Barbosa
Lucas recently visited our gym for a seminar. I enjoyed his teaching style, and found his techniques easy to follow, so I looked around for any instructionals he has done. This guard is so simple and yet very effective. I was applying it during my rolls the very next day, much to the confounding of my teamates.

Watching this for an hour every day instead of my usual reading. Compliments my rolling very well. Currently a white belt. JD explains the reasons for everything very well, providing great context. I’ve become much less frenetic and more controlled and deliberate with my sparring.
