Worthy of the hype
The Anti-Wrestling Equation by Craig Jones
I found this instructional to be worthy of the hype, I only had the chance to watch maybe 1 segment of it, and just from that was able to use a technique Craig shows here which allowed me to get a takedown on someone with way more wrestling expereince than me.
Great takedown instructional
Systematically Attacking The Scrimmage: Upper Body Takedowns by Gordon Ryan
I really enjoyed this one, it's recommended to do Systematically Attacking the Scrimmage: Beginers Guide to Success before this one if you don't have any wrestling experience. While you don't necessarily have to watch them both, if you're someone without wrestling experience like me, both of these combined should give a grappler confidence to engage while standing.
Very helfpul
Systematically Attacking The Scrimmage: Beginners Guide To Success by Gordon Ryan
I believe that this instructional is good for someone without wrestling experience (like me), but also for someone with wrestling experience as Gordon explains the difference of takedowns in jiu-jitsu vs traditional wrestling.
Great butterfly guard instructional
Butterfly Guard Rediscovered 3.0 by Adam Wardzinski
Really enjoy this, especially the half and lazy butterfly, which makes the butterfly guard so versatile
Extremely useful
Systematically Attacking The Half Guard and Scrimmaging: Whizzer vs Underhook by Gordon Ryan
This is such a useful video. Many people would think these situations are just random scrambles, but this video shows there are very repetitive positions which allow you to systemize your decisions. Connects perfectly with half guard.
