As an older white-belt, I routinely end up in closed guard when rolling with younger, more athletic guys. I like Craigs teaching style, but even more valuable than that was that the techniques shown actually work.

For a 51 y.o. jiujiteiro no gi bottom can be very hard. With the gi off and no real grips it's difficult to stop and even slow down a stronger and faster opponent. As always John D. gives us a complete system to manage these problems an learn, not to only survive, but attack an win.

Lucas Leite developed a guard which offers the use of leverage in perfection. It works even great for older and less flexible guys like me. It makes great sweps and backtakes available and of course submissions. I really like to comine it with x-guard and SLX. Highly recommend!1!

Guard Passing Mastery by Henry Akins
Professor Henry Akisn created a true masterpiece! It is all about concepts delivered to pass no matter which guard you are facing. It is taught by showing it passing all common guards. It is all about wight distribution and shifting agles. Weight distribution in terms of your bodyweight against where your opponent finds/keeps contact to your body and then shifting your weight around the given frame and addressing where the hooks are you have to negeate. Highly recommend!!
