Basics are key to your BJJ game
Foundations of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Bernardo Faria
This product is a great demonstration of what to focus on to make specific techniques work for you. There are so many techniques in BJJ and this product helps me to catalog my “go-to” basic moves for major positions in an organized fashion, as well as helping to refine the techniques so they are more likely to work. A lot of times the daily techniques work while you practice them with low resistance, but then when you try them while sparring they don’t work. There are so many variables that contribute to landing a technique like position, speed, flexibility, strength, and the ability to chain techniques together; this video helps to solidify the basics that are a big piece to that puzzle. Happy rolling!
